“Nobody said it was easy. Especially manufacturing and selling longboards in Estonia.

Unbelievable, but it has been already 7 years since I established the Mogul brand. Did not expect it to last is so long and now it already seems quite impossible to kill it We just love doing these boards, as nothing can compare the emotion when our customers finally see the boards that they themselves have helped to design. It is just priceless and makes you want to keep on going!

Of course, then the 4-month summer season is over and you start wondering that perhaps you are stuck in the wrong place and time. Building custom longboards in Estonia for a living? What a joke. You should grow up and do something real, like IT or law or sell someone others real shit. Honestly, as many of us, I am sometimes also highly influenceable and started to be afraid to miss out on stuff. Went to work for one large company, then even switched to an awesome start-up. Tried to be a real grown-up person, you know? Trust me it’s all bullshit as long as you are not excited about the following day or do not feel the epic growth within yourself. And the biggest disappointment of them all was the feeling of being replaceable. I was even told to be a one. What the fuck? I honestly believe that we as people are unique creatures to this amazing world as we have given the blessing to appreciate what has been created for us and the possibility to create by ourselves. Probably many of us forget it because we have limited our realities into an office size worlds where you spend 80% of your time and therefore miss out the opportunities and new people and ideas that you might encounter otherwise. By not moving around and being stuck in one place. We are not meant to sit in on spot for a whole fucking day and then return for another 300 ones. Seriously, WTF? By doing that, I think that we are enslaving ourselves to help to manifest other peoples great ideas and missing out on finding out what we are exceptional in. We should all give ourselves the opportunity and time to find that out. Whenever, even if you are 40.

After quitting the office job, I felt an immense sense of freedom, especially because the biggest negativity in my life was gone and altho I had lost my well-paid job, things could go only better. And they did. Got engaged with the most amazing woman, produced more than 300 custom boards, plenty of other big projects, came up with some new epic products, grew our crew and even built a new workshop, etc. Really can’t complain. And if you ask me if it was easier to work a full-time job for someone else, then I’d say yes, but fuck man, I am the unreplaceable independent Mogul guy that my people know me for, and if I want to smoke weed today and not do nothing tomorrow, then I will! Our time is the most valuable thing we have and use it wisely. No bullshit.

Growing up is for the trees and always follow your inner excitement. Ride the snake, as Jim Morrison used to say! I will keep on doing epic longboards and many other products because this is what I want to do! Thanks for the support and love!”
